#Project1819: "This Is America"

The first song of #Project1819 is “This Is America.” The surprise release hit by Childish Gambino debuted the night the multi-talented artist hosted Saturday Night Live. I’ve been a fan of Childish Gambino/ Donald Glover for awhile but the release of the video/song won me over right away.

There was the message of the reality of being black in America but the execution and style of this song had me instantly addicted. Oh and let’s not forget Gambino’s shirtless dancing. This song and video is iconic.
