Video Review: 'Black Is King,' A Film by Beyoncé

Hello Readers,

I feel that I have forsaken you. It’s been damn near a year since I last posted on the site. I still create it’s just that instead of posting written pieces I am focusing more on my video content which you can see on my YouTube and my Instagram page.

However, with this latest project I decided that this deserves a place on the site. This would be non other than ‘Black Is King,’ a film by Beyoncé. What an incredible piece of visual art this is. The one and a half hour film parallels the story of ‘The Lion King’ to tell the tale of a young black man as he encounters challenges and learns the beauty and glory in being black.
