Review: Chameleon Is The Main Species On Doja Cat's 'Planet Her'

July 02, 2021 by Chet Kincaid in Music

The fact that she has released three studio albums in three years… we’ll get to the Rihanna comparisons later. One might think that was a quick rise to fame but in actuality Doja has been around since 2014 when she released her debut project, an EP titled ‘Purrr!’

FM²: Have We Already Witnessed The Last Female Music Megastar?

January 28, 2018 by Chet Kincaid in Music

A Female Music Megastar is defined as an entertainer who has become a household name. In most cases, her persona is recognized before her music is, by the casual music listener. The women associated with this title will be referred to as FM²'s.

As the 2018 Grammy awards just finished airing, it was another year showcasing some of the talent, some of the female talent. SZA Solidified: A 6 Hour Experience At 'The Ctrl Tour'

December 17, 2017 by Chet Kincaid in Music

It was five months in the making, last week Monday, SZA's 'The Ctrl' tour hit New York City.

I first became a fan of SZA back in 2014 around the time "Babylon" was released. Her TDE intro video also pulled me into her as a talent. Shout out to Top Dawg Entertainment for taking the time to groom SZA and not throw her away when she did not blow up right away. In 2016, she was featured on "Consideration" with Rihanna but for me, it was her late night television debut on Jimmy Kimmel that turned me from a casual SZA fan to a SZA lover. I instantly fell in love with the doll face beauty during that performance; it was SZA's reemergence.
